Arbor Week celebration: 5 September 2024
Welgevonden Estate celebrated the arrival of spring with the ceremonial planting of trees at Welgevonden on 5 September 2024 as part of National Arbor Week 2024.
Officiating at the event were the executive mayor of Stellenbosch, alderman Gesie van Deventer and
internationally acclaimed South African landscape architect, Leon Kluge. This special and uplifting ceremony was appreciated by everyone who attended.

Remaining with the GLOCMS app
After consultation and a thorough review with GLOVent Solutions, the provider of the GLOCMS community management platform used at Welgevonden Estate, Excom has decided to continue with the current service provider.
Extending existing and new lease agreements
Most lease agreements at Welgevonden Estate are annual, and typically conclude or renew by the end of November each year. While it's only September, we encourage landlords, tenants, and estate agents to streamline their rental processes and submit fully completed new agreements by early November, rather than waiting until the end of November to do so. Please send these via e-mail to the following e-mail address: admin@welgevonden.co.za.
Following this process benefits everyone involved, as it allows estate management to update tenant details in advance, avoiding the typical end-of-November rush. For tenants renewing their leases, the process is even smoother—simply make the necessary payment at the estate office, as your details will already be in the system.

Ending with heartfelt gratification
A lot of water has (literally!) flowed into the dam since these photos were taken! It's a whole new world out there for which we are extremely grateful!
